A typology project that focuses on different types of hair, specifically dark hair. I was inspired by hair commercials and noticed how most of them show light colored hair and very few have black or brown hair. Dark hair is rarely represented in hair or shampoo advertisements and wanted to show the different representations of dark hair. The photos range from curly hair to straight hair, dark brown with caramel highlights to pitch black with silver hairs. The project shows the diversity of dark hair and invites the viewers to take a closer look at the different styles of them.
